Relationship-centered counseling for children, teens, adults, and families through connection, play, and animal-assisted interventions.
At Kindred Paws, therapy is a place to be fully yourself — messy moments, hard feelings, questions, strengths, and all.
We believe meaningful change begins when people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, understood, and accepted. Through genuine therapeutic relationships and individualized, evidence-informed care, we create space for connection, growth, healing, and hope.

Training matters. Evidence-informed treatment matters. Therapeutic techniques matter.
And so does the relationship.
At Kindred Paws, we believe meaningful growth is more likely when people have a space where they feel safe enough to be themselves. You aren't expected to arrive knowing exactly what to say, perfectly regulated, or with everything figured out.
We value individualized, thoughtful care built around the person in front of us—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Come as you are. We'll start there.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Gertie is my animal-assisted counseling partner.
My approach is grounded in relationship, acceptance, individual strengths, and meeting people where they are. Depending on each client's needs, therapy may incorporate conversation, play, creative activities, evidence-informed interventions, and animal-assisted counseling.
Together, Gertie and I strive to create a space where clients can connect, explore, grow, and simply be themselves.
You don't have to know exactly what you need or have the right words before reaching out.
